September prayer requests

Please pray with us for the following:

Thank you's:

*  Thank you to all who donated much needed food and stationery to the school this month!

*  Thank you for a very successful and smooth registration process.  We have registered 172 learners in our school for next year.

Please pray for:

*  Our school concert which will be on Saturday, 25 October.  Please pray for enough resources to make this concert a success and also a learning experience for our kids.

*  Please pray for enough funding for our textbooks and stationery for next year.

*  Please continue to pray for the safety and protection of our children, staff and volunteers every day.

Welcome to our new group of American missionaries

From Monday, 1 September we will have the privilege of these American missionaries joining our school, ministering to the staff and children.  Welcome Chelsea, Taylor, Hillary, Abbie, Lenice and Nick!

Workshop with Claire

On Thursday, 28 August, we had the privilege to attend a workshop with Claire van Rhyn about Creative Teaching Practices.  What a wonderful, enriching experience!

August prayer requests

Herewith our prayer requests for August:

Our thank you's to Jesus:

* Thank you to all who contributed to the school for Mandela Day:  painting our school, donating stationery, scarfs, wool hats and gloves, and donating food for our feeding scheme.

*  Thank you for all the teachers and children who are safely back home after the winter holidays!

Prayer requests:

* Please pray for our 2014 concert.  Our theme this year is "Friendship", and we will use Bible stories to depict how you can be a good friend.  Please pray for all the resources we need, and also for perseverance and patience for our kids and teachers.

*  Please continue to pray for our safety every day.
