We have almost reached the end of 2015, and it is with such grateful heart that we look back at the, and can only thank God for His provision and goodness every day.
We have just again realized how incredibly generous people are, and we want to than Jesus for all the special people He has send across our path the last few weeks.
* Thank you to Barloworld for Christmas gifts.
* Thank you to everyone who provide food for our food parcels for the less fortunate families.
* Thank you to AECom who gave a sponsorship towards our annual school trip to Lory Park Zoo.
* Thank you for everyone who made the Christmas season special for the kids by donating school bags, gifts and sweetie packs.
* Thank you to everyone who worked so hard towards our successful school concert.
The holidays are ahead of us, and for most of us it is an exciting time. Please remember our children and school in your prayers. Pray for the safety of each child, teacher and also our school building during this time. Also pray for wisdom for 2016 to continue taking the school from strength to strength and to glorify God's name in all we do.
A wonderful, blessed season to all our supporters!

November prayer requests
Thank you for praying with us.
Herewith our prayer requests for November:
* We want to give thanks to everyone who share their time and resources with the school. A new empowerment workshop for parents has been launched this month, which will run parallel with our monthly kid's games.
* It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to one of our Gr. R learners this month, who passed away suddenly. Please pray that God will be the Comforter in her family, and that they will find peace during this very sad time.
* Thank you to everyone who helped put together our concert for 2015. The children have surprised us with their creativity and talent. We are proud to present "The Parable of the Sower" this month at school.
* Please pray for our preparation for the final tests for the end of the year. The year is slowly drawing to a close, and it is now time to persevere and give our best in order to end the year off with good results.

October prayer requests
Thank you to everyone who are praying for us!
Herewith the prayer requests for October:
* Thank you to all the amazing American missionaries who spend September with us. They are leaving at the end of this month to continue their work in the Cape. You have been a blessing to us!
* Thank you for everyone involved in our monthly Kid's Games. You really make it very special for the kids, and are making such a difference in their lives.
* The school will be closed for a short break from 2 - 12 October. Please pray that God will keep the staff, children and our school premises safe during this time.
* Please pray for our Term 4 activities: we still need to raise funds for our textbooks for 2016, our annual school trip and our Christmas party. Please pray that we will have enough funds to make all this possible for the kids.
* Please pray for our upcoming school concert. We really want this to be a special event where the children can showcase their talents.

Prayer requests: September 2015
Thank you to everyone who consistently pray for our school, children, parents and teachers. Every day brings new challenges, but is also filled with God's grace. We truly rely on Him to provide for us.
Please pray an give thanks with us for the following:
* Thank you for a lovely Women's Month Celebration on 15 August (held together with Parent's day). We had some lovely gifts and prizes to spoil our mums, and an amazing speaker who spoke about Women's rights and the role of women in society.
* Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the Guard of Honor during the International Cricket Match (SA vs NZ) on Saturday, 16 August at Supersport Park.
* Our senior children are going this weekend on a "Kings and Queens" camp. Please pray for their protection and for a spirit filled weekend where we will be able to impart wisdom and God's unfailing love to our kids. Thank you to all the volunteers who are part of this weekend. May God grant you the wisdom, energy and compassionate hearts to make a difference in the lives of these children. Thank you also to everyone who contributed financially towards the camp.
* Please pray for an internal moral compass for the children and staff, especially that we will continuously walk with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Their are a lot of temptations and peer pressure in the community, and it is so easy to make a wrong choice. Please pray that God will keep us safe and able to walk in His holy way.
Thank you and be blessed!

Please pray with us for the following:
Thank you's to Jesus:
* Thank you for keeping all the teachers and children safe during the Easter holidays.
* Thank you for all the people who made donations towards the school the past month: some families got duvet inners for the upcoming winter months, and a donor paid for our children who are in need of glasses, to each have their own pair of spectacles.
Please pray for the following:
* We have very little food currently for our family feeding scheme. Please pray that God will provide food for these families in need.
* Please pray for peace and unity in the school and community.
* Please pray for our parent's day on Saturday, 16 May, especially for our motivational speaker, Jacques Papenfus. Please pray that God will use him to touch or parent's hearts and give them new hope and strength.
* Please pray for one of our Grade 1 teachers, Ma'am Prescilla, who will be going on maternity leave as from the 1st of May. We pray everything will go smoothly with the rest of her pregnancy and that God will bless her and her baby during this season of togetherness. Pray also for our substitute teacher, Ma'am Patricia, who will take her place during the 4 months of her absence.
* Please pray for our fundraising at Midstream on the 8th of May. We want to collect money for some sports equipment and for topsoil for our newly planted grass. We will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers on this day.

April prayer requests
March has been a month filled with an abundance of blessings! We have had the privilege to share our month with some young, vibrant people from America. Their love and presence has been a blessing to our staff and kids, and we thank them for their time and talents which they shared with us!
We have moved our kitchen to another room in the school. Our kitchen has been painted and we have put in new gas pipes with the help of several sponsors.
We also planted grass on our playground this month. This gave the school a complete facelift. We are also very excited to start our new Y-Sport program next month and the grass area will be ideal for this!
Thank you so much to all the volunteers who helped us with this project!
Please pray for the safety of our children and families during the Easter holidays! May all the staff have a wonderful time of rest and rejuvenation!
Please pray that God will provide for our needs for the new term: food, stationery etc. We trust in Him for our resources we need at school.

Grass for our school!
On Saturday, 14 March, we had some volunteers from "The Potato Foundation" and "EM Africa" who planted grass for us on our school playground. Thank you to all who helped with the mammoth project! It looks wonderful and is going to make a huge difference for our sport activities!
