Thank you so much to all who contributed towards our families who are in need for their December food parcel packets!  It means more to them than we can express in words.  

Christmas gifts from Kyalami Preparatory School

Thank you very much to the parents and children of Kyalami Preparatory School who collected gifts for Olievenhoutbosch Christian School during their annual "Carols by candlelight" event.  You sure brought lots of smiles to our kid's faces today!

Outreach project to Badiromogo Old Age home

The staff and children of Olievenhoutbosch Christian School had an outreach to Badiromogo Old Age home in Olievenhoutbosch on Tuesday, 24 November.

We collected food and toiletries for the old people.  The children sang some Christmas songs for them.  Our theme for the outreach was:  Finding your joy in Jesus,  focusing especially on Nehemia 8:10:  "The joy of the Lord is your strength."  

We pray that these lovely old people will find their joy in Jesus, and that our children will learn to share the love of Jesus and what they have with other.

Grade 0 Graduation - 2013

What a lovely day of celebration we had on Saturday, 23 November, with our Grade 0 children and parents.  The kids performed the parable of the lost son, as well as a worship dance.  We then handed out their Grade 0 certificates and ended the day with a yummy lunch for our parents and children.

Firstly, our thank you's to Jesus:

*  On Saturday, 26 October, we had our annual Christmas Party, Concert and Prize Giving.  Thanks you for all the donations that came in towards our concert and for a wonderful day for the parents and kids.  

Prayer requests:

*  Please pray for our Grade 0 graduation in November:  for a successful day and enough resources to make this day very special for our Grade 0's.

*  Please pray for our end-of-year preparations and planning for 2014:  that we will seek and do God's will in everything.

*  Please pray for enough funding for our 2014 textbooks.
